St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 120 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Sidney J. Bourque, 58, 1326 South Fildspan Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 12:48 pm on two warrants for issuing worthless checks. A deputy made contact with Bourque on 6th Street in Morgan City and learned of the warrants for his arrest. Bourque was released on a summons to appear in court on March 26, 2014.

Shawn Boudreaux, 36, 179 Martin Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 3:27 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a moveable. Upon being transported from the Morgan City jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, Boudreaux was booked on the warrant. No bond is set.

Shawntay Cox, 34, 2800 North E. Street, Pensacola, FL was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 3:56 pm on a warrant for probation violation. Cox was transported to the parish jail from Florida on the warrant. No bond is set.

Justin Bowyer, 21, 3817 Pharr Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 6:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving while intoxicated, no vehicle inspection, and no seatbelt. Bowyer turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center after learning of the warrant for his arrest. No bond is set.

Kenneth Gauthier, 24, 900 Mississippi Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 7:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unlawful use of ID to gain access to a gaming establishment. Gauthier was transported from Franklin Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center and subsequently booked on the warrant. Bond is set at $201,500.

Bryson Skinner, 19, 1061 Grace Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 13, 2013 at 9:17 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without a driver's license. A deputy made contact with Skinner during a traffic stop on Highway 182 in Amelia and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Skinner was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $299.50 bond.

Shawn Lovell, 26, 1801 Rose Street #6, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 14, 2013 at 12:03 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving while intoxicated. While responding to a complaint, a deputy made contact with Lovell and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Lovell was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $3,500 bond.

Nina Morgan, 32, 105 Rose Park Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 14, 2013 at 1:19 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana), possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. She is also charged on a warrant for issuing worthless checks and on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks.

Amber Lovell, 26, 105 Rose Park Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 14, 2013 at 1:17 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana), possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, operating a vehicle without a driver's license, and operating a vehicle without insurance.

A deputy responded to a residence on Rose Park Lane in reference to a complaint of damaged property. During the course of the investigation, the deputy observed marijuana inside the residence learned of the warrants for Shawn Lovell, Amber Lovell, and Nina Morgan. 5 juveniles were at the residence at the time of the investigation. The three subjects listed above were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set for Amber Lovell and Morgan. Bond is set at $3,500 for Shawn Lovell.

Glenn Rodrigue, 50, 242 Cliffwood Drive, Houma, LA was arrested on December 14, 2013 at 3:15 am for following too close, possession of Schedule I, possession of Schedule IV, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed a vehicle following the police unit too closely on Highway 90 and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Rodrigue. During the traffic stop investigation, the deputy received consent to search Rodrigue's person and located a bag of Alprazolam pills and a bag of marijuana. Rodrigue was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Naomi David, 36, 430 Bush Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 14, 2013 at 7:13 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that David was seen placing items into a container before attempting to leave the store without paying for the goods. David was released on a summons to appear in court on March 26, 2013.

Anthony Bergeron, 47, 5441 Bayou Black Road, Gibson, LA was arrested on December 15, 2013 at 1:48 am for headlights required, improper lane use, resisting an officer, driving while intoxicated (2nd offense). A deputy patrolling the Amelia area saw a pick up truck travelling on Highway 182 with only one working headlight. The deputy also observed the vehicle swerving onto the shoulder of the roadway several times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop. When the vehicle came to a top, the deputy observed the driver of the pick up truck climb into the backseat. When the deputy instructed the driver to exit the vehicle, the driver repeatedly refused to comply. The deputy then opened the vehicle's door and made contact with the driver, identified as Bergeron. The deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Bergeron's breath and person. The deputy also observed Bergeron swaying from side to side. Bergeron was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Jose Luis Rodriguez, 29, no address given, was arrested on December 15, 2013 at 2:03 am for remaining where forbidden and unlawful possession of fraudulent documents. A deputy responded to a complaint of loitering in a parking lot at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia. The deputy made contact with a male subject identified as Rodriguez. During the investigation, the deputy discovered a fake identification card on Rodriguez. Rodriguez was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Juan Ortiz, 34, 313 Aristile Road, Bayou L'Ourse, LA was arrested on December 15, 2013 at 1:12 pm for theft of goods.

Danny Echevarra, 33, 313 Aristile Road, Bayou L'Ourse, LA was arrested on December 15, 2013 at 1:12 pm for theft of goods.

A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Ortiz and Echevarra were seen taking items from the packaging and concealing the goods on their persons. The two men then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. Both subjects were released on summonses to appear in court on March 26, 2013.

Jocelynn Boudreaux, 36, 320 Hilda Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on December 15, 2013 at 4:21 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy made contact with Boudreaux during a traffic stop in Bayou Vista and learned of the warrant for her arrest. Boudreaux was released on a summons to appear in court on March 26, 2013.

Tiara Lewis, 22, 522 Martin Luther King Street, Charenton, LA was arrested on December 16, 2013 at 3:31 am for criminal trespass and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

Lakoya Martin, 19, 149 Pickett Street, Charenton, LA was arrested on December 16, 2013 at 3:35 am for criminal trespass, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, simple battery, and aggravated assault.

A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Pickett Lane. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that three female subjects entered a residence uninvited and engaged in an argument with a male victim. During the argument, Martin struck the victim in the face several time with her hand. Martin and Lewis were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. One additional arrest is expected in this investigation.
