St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Michael L. Raymond, Jr., 35, 208 Kathleen Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 22, 2013 at 10:53 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks, 4 counts. A deputy located Raymond on the warrant at an apartment complex on Highway 182 in Berwick. Raymond was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.

Marie E. Siracusa, 58, 208 Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 22, 2013 at 2:13 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Siracusa on the warrant at a residence on Brashear Avenue. She was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.

Johnny Watts, 58, 216 Clausen South Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 22, 2013 at 3:14 pm for theft of utilities. A deputy responded to a complaint of utility theft on Clausen South Road. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Watts had tampered with a water meter near his residence, turned it on, and was using the water illegally. Watts was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.

Dalton Ray Cooper, 41, 106 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 22, 2013 at 9:49 pm for domestic abuse battery.

Valencia Cooper, 40, 106 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 22, 2013 at 10:07 pm for domestic abuse battery.

Deputies responded to a disturbance in progress at a residence on Natalie Lane. Upon arrival, a deputy observed a male subject outside the home. As the deputy approached the male subject, a female subject came running out of the residence. The deputy identified the male subject as D. Cooper and the female subject as V. Cooper. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the two subjects were involved in an argument over a mobile phone that escalated into a physical encounter. During the altercation, D. Cooper pushed V. Cooper to the ground and V. Cooper bit D. Cooper. Both subjects refused medical treatment. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
