St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Justin Oblanc, 30, 930 Florence Street, Jennings, LA was arrested on September 23, 2013 at 12:07 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. While en route, the deputy received information that the shoplifter had driven away from the store. Using the vehicle description provided by the complainant, the deputy located the vehicle and detained the driver who was identified as Oblanc. Upon arrival at the store, the deputy learned from personnel that Oblanc could be seen on video surveillance leaving without paying for items. The value of the stolen goods totaled over $100. Oblonc was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Juvenile male, 16, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 23, 2013 at 1:33 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting.

The two juveniles were arrested after getting into a fight at Patterson High School.

Crystal Duhon, 40, 110 Railroad Avenue, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 23, 2013 at 1:48 pm on a warrant for theft. Duhon came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City and was advised of the warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was released on a $1,000 bond.

Sonia Todd, 35, no address given, was arrested on September 23, 2013 at 6:30 pm on a warrant for failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address as a sex offender, 2nd offense. A deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence on Shannon Street in Patterson and made contact with Todd who was wanted on the above warrant. In 2011, Todd was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles perform sexually immoral acts. Todd was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
