St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Leon Saucier, 51, 113 Point Lane, Cypremort Point, LA was arrested on June 13, 2013 at 8:51 am on a warrant for theft. A deputy located Saucier at his residence on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into a stolen boat motor taken from a property in Baldwin. Saucier was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $500 bond.

Quentin Cooper, 22, 134 MLK Blvd., Patterson, LA was arrested on June 13, 2013 at 4:30 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on traffic charges. During a traffic stop on Jupiter Road in Bayou Vista, a deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Cooper. The deputy learned that Cooper was wanted on active warrants. Cooper was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $988.50 bond.

Efrain Eduardo Castro Bajurto, 30, 117 West 74 Street, Cutoff, LA was arrested on June 13, 2013 at 9:47 pm for improper lane use and operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed a vehicle fail to use the turning lane properly at the intersection of Southeast Blvd. and Middle Road and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, identified as Bajurto, the deputy learned that he was operating the vehicle without lawful presence in the United States. Bajurto was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
