According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 51 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Taylor Brown, 17, 415 Mike Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 5, 2013 at 10:57 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting. A deputy located Brown at his residence on the warrant.
Juvenile male, 16, 613 Superior Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 5, 2013 at 2:46 pm on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting. After learning of the warrant for his arrest, the juvenile and his guardian came into the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City.
Both of these warrants stem from an investigation into a fight at Central Park in Bayou Vista. The SMPSO received the report of a fight on May 26, 2013. The investigating deputy determined that Brown and the juvenile male were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical fight. Brown was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $250 bond. The juvenile male was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Deidre H. Espadron, 48, 215 Mechanic Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 5, 2013 at 1:57 pm on a warrant for 2 counts of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Espadron at her place of employment in Centerville on the warrant. She was released on a summons to appear in court on September 3, 2013.
