According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 55 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Aubrey Aaron Corsaro, 24, 703 Clark Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 29, 2013 at 10:23 am on 4 warrants for failure to appear for drug court. A deputy received information that Corsaro was at 973 Hwy. 90 West in Bayou Vista. Corsaro was located and subsequently transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $400,000.
Janice Ann Fabre, 59, 112 Ross Lane Morgan City, LA was arrested on warrants for failure to appear for drug court. Fabre was taken into custody on the warrant by Abbeville Police in Abbeville, LA. She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and incarceration. Her bond is set at $200,000.
Douglas Paul Dickerson, 49, 124 Domino Drive Patterson, LA was arrested on April 29, 2013 at 5:03 pm for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense, careless operation of a motor vehicle, and vehicular negligent injury. Deputies patrolling the Jeanerette area responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Fortier Circle in Jeanerette. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Dickerson struck a 69 year old male subject with a vehicle as he was backing out of a driveway. The victim was transported to Iberia Medical Center for observation. When making contact with Dickerson, the deputy detected the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and observed Dickerson slurring his speech and swaying as he stood. During the investigation Dickerson performed poorly on a field sobriety test. He later registered a .139g% blood alcohol content on the Intoxilyzer 5000 breath test. Dickerson was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Todd James Leblanc, 47, 430 Lantier Road Carencro, LA was arrested on April 29, 2013 at 5:45 pm for careless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to reports of a reckless driver on Highway 90 in the Patterson area. Based on the description given by the complainants, the deputy located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in Centerville. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Leblanc. Upon doing so, the deputy detected the slight odor of alcohol emitting from Leblanc and administered a field sobriety test. Also during the course of the investigation, the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and located an open bottle of liquor and a metal pipe. Leblanc was given a summons to appear in court on July 5, 2013.
