According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Leisha Bourgeois McGraw, 33, 1026 Red Cypress Road Patterson, LA was arrested on April 11, 2013 at 11:16 am at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office for theft. On April 1, 2013, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation into a complaint of a theft from a business in Berwick. During the course of the investigation, the detective learned that McGraw, a former office manager, cashed over $3,000 in checks to herself on several occasions. The checks date back to August 2012. McGraw was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Gerald Boudreaux, 60, 6041 West Park Houma, LA was arrested on April 11, 2013 at 3:48 pm for improper lane usage and possession of Schedule II drugs. A deputy observed a vehicle swerving on Highway 90 in Berwick and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking with the driver, identified as Boudreaux, the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and located pills identified as Lortab and Percocet. Boudreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a recognizance bond.
Darlene Frazier, 56, 301 Carol Road Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 11, 2013 at 5:12 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security that Frazier was observed placing items in her purse. Frazier then left the store without paying for the items. She was released on a summons to appear in court on July 5, 2013.
Donnie Reed, 59, 1200 James Street Apt. #6 Siracusa, LA was arrested on April 11, 2013 at 11:56 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to a noise complaint at the above listed residence and made contact with Reed. During the course of the investigation, the deputies learned of the warrant for Reed's arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $750.
