St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Christopher Glenn Fryar, 29, 209 1/2 Field Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 13, 2013 at 8:42 am on a warrant for probation violation, a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of careless operation of a vehicle with a crash and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, and on a warrant for domestic abuse battery 3rd offense. A deputy located Fryar in Amelia on the warrants. No bond is set.

Juvenile male, 16, Verdunville, LA was arrested on February 13, 2013 at 3:03 pm for theft and possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription. A deputy responded to a complaint of a theft at Walmart in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation the deputy located several unpaid for items in a bag that the juvenile attempted to take from the store. The juvenile was also found to be in possession of several pills. The juvenile did not have a prescription for the drugs. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Juvenile male, 16, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 13, 2013 at 3:06 pm for unlawful possession of tobacco. While investigating a complaint at Walmart in Bayou Vista, a deputy observed a juvenile smoking near the entrance to the store. During the course of the investigation the juvenile was found to be in possession of several cigars. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
