According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Paul Kenneth Lodrigue, Jr., 33, 125 Two Sister Court, Berwick, LA was arrested on January 10, 2013 at 10:59 am on warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court on the charge of possession of marijuana 2nd offense and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court on the charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy located Lodrigue at his residence on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $200,000.
Juvenile female, 16, was arrested on January 10, 2013 at 1:53 pm for ungovernable juvenile and curfew violation. A deputy responded to a complaint of an ungovernable juvenile. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned from the juvenile's mother that the teenager refused to listen and left her residence without permission staying out after curfew. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Michael Wayne Ganaway, 25, 917 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on 11:50 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the Whiskey Heaven bar in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy received a description of a subject who was attempting to fight with bar staff. The deputy located the subject who was later identified as Ganaway. During the investigation, the deputy observed the odor of alcohol on Ganaway's person. Ganaway repeatedly yelled curses at the deputy and kicked the window of the patrol unit. Ganaway was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $250.
