St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to Sheriff Mark Hebert during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 120 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile male, 16, was arrested on August 24, 2012 at 9:32 am at Patterson High School for theft and simple criminal damage to property.

Juvenile male, 15, was arrested on August 24, 2012 at 9:32 am at Patterson High School for theft and simple criminal damage to property.

Juvenile male, 15, was arrested on August 24, 2012 at 9:32 am at Patterson High School for theft.

Juvenile male, 14, was arrested on August 24, 2012 at 9:32 am at Patterson High School for theft.

A deputy responded to a complaint of theft at Patterson High School. School administrators detained four male juveniles. Through the course of the investigation the deputy learned that the four male juveniles broke into another students gym locker and stole money out of it. The juveniles were turned over to their parents pending juvenile court proceedings.

Ashton Pugh, 54, 66 Main St, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 24, 2012 at 10:05 pm on Main St. in Franklin for obscenity and criminal trespass. A deputy was patrolling Hwy. 182 when he observed a man without any clothes on walking down a driveway. Following an investigation, the man was identified as Pugh. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Pugh was released on a $5,500 bond.

Jordan Granger, 23, 810 Levee Rd. #12, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 25, 2012 at 3:42 am at the Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia, LA on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple criminal damage to property and simple battery. While responding to a separate complaint, a deputy located Granger on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Granger's bond is set at $1,000.

Sean Gammon, 25, 140 Evangeline Rd, Montz, LA was arrested on August 25, 2012 at 12:38 pm on Hwy. 90 in Amelia, LA on a warrant for St. John the Baptist Parish for driving under suspension. A deputy who came into contact with Gammon learned of the warrant for his arrest. Gammon was released on a summons.

Carl Pierre Keiffer, 41, 130 Parro Ln, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 25, 2012 at 4:31 pm at the SMPSO in Morgan City, LA for possession of Schdule II (Cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the Plantation Inn in Bayou Vista, LA. Upon arriving at the room the deputy observed in plain view a pipe commonly used for smoking illegal narcotics. Also located in the room was a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance that was identified as cocaine. During the course of the investigation a suspect, identified as Keiffer, was located and transported to the SMPSO in Morgan City. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Josh Mathis, 25, 2298 Old U.S. Hwy. 84, Gorgan, AL was arrested on August 25, 2012 at 6:44 pm at the Plantation Inn in Bayou Vista, LA for domestic abuse batter, simple criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace intoxicated, and 2 counts of resisting an officer with force. A deputy responded to a complaint of a fight. Upon arrival the deputy learned that during an argument, Mathis pushed a female victim to the ground. Mathis was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Ernel Reed, 34, 1012 Webber St, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at 12:43 am on Northwest Blvd. in Franklin on 3 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks, operating a vehicle without required equipment, switched license plate, expired inspection sticker and operating a vehicle not covered by security. While responding to a separate complaint a deputy came into contact with Reed who had warrants for his arrest. Reed was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $3,399.50.

Corey Mire, 24, 323 Saturn Rd, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at 12:44 am on Southwest Rd. in Bayou Vista for domestic abuse battery (strangulation), simple criminal damage to property, and resisting a police officer with force. A deputy responded to a complaint of domestic violence. The deputy learned that during an argument Mire grabbed the victim by the neck and began to choke her. Mire also punched the vehicle that he and the victim were in at the time of the argument. Mire was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Juan R. Torres, 48, 205 Railroad St, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at 9:19 am on warrants for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Torres on the warrant. Torres was released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.

Leslie Janelle Matthews, 37, 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at her residence listed above on warrants for probation violation. Matthews was located on the warrants and transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Nicole Marie Lodrigues, 28, 2991 Second St, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Lodrigues was located on the warrant and released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.

Lolette H. Gant, 51, 702 Scottie St, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at 1:55 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Gant was located on the warrant and released on a summons to appear in court on October 29, 2012.

Arthur Jack, 17, 112 Lincoln St, Baldwin, LA was arrested on August 26, 2012 at 8:00 pm at a residence on Hwy. 83 in Ashton, LA. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance. Upon arrival Jack was hostile to deputies and attempted to walk away. During the course of the investigation Jack yelled profanities at deputies. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. NO bond had been set at the time of the press release.
