St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

Date: July 16, 2012

According to Sheriff Mark Hebert during the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to
119 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Edin Omar Soto Suazo, 25, 547 Railroad Ave, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 13, 2012 at 2:34pm
for careless operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States.
The Deputy responded to a vehicle crash on the corner of Duval St. and Lake Palourde Rd in Amelia, LA.
Suazo was unable to produce a driver's license. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that
Suazo was in the United States illegally. The suspect was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Bryson Skinner, 18, 1061 Grace St, Morgan City LA was arrested on July 13, 2012 at 6:52pm at the residence
above on a warrant from the Morgan City Police Department for illegal use of a weapon and possession of a firearm in a firearm free zone. Skinner was transported to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and then released to MCPD.

Elias F. Todd, 18, 427 Hwy. 182 Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 14, 2012 at 12:28am for possession
of Schedule II (Vyvance) and possession of Schedule IV (Valium). A deputy responded to a complaint of a
fight at the address above. During the investigation the deputy located a total of 16 and ½ pills in Todd's pocket. The suspect was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Roderick Rodriguez, 40, 9365 Hwy. 182, Centerville, LA was arrested on July 14, 2012 at 5:56pm for
aggravated assault, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and driving under suspension. A deputy
responded to a complaint of a possible aggravated assault with a firearm. The complainant stated that
during an argument Rodriguez pulled a gun and made threats. The deputy located the suspect on Hwy.
182 in Centerville. During the investigation a gun matching the complainants description was located in the
suspect's vehicle. There was also a juvenile in vehicle. Rodriguez was transported to the parish jail for booking
and incarceration. He was later released on a $3,000 bond.

Jeremy D. Wilson, 33, 135 Barrone St, Baldwin, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 4:28am
for possession of Marijuana fourth offense. A deputy responded to the area of St. Peter Rd. and Martin
Luther King Dr. in Jeanerette in reference to a vehicle crash. During the investigation the deputy observed
Marijuana on the passenger seat of Wilson's vehicle. Wilson was transported to the parish jail for booking
and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Edward G. Delone, Jr., 39, 612 Beech St, New Iberia, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 4:08am
for illegal possession of stolen things (vehicle) and driving under suspension. A deputy responded
to a vehicle crash on St. Joseph Ln. in Franklin. Upon arrival the deputy discovered a vehicle in a ditch.
During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that the vehicle was reported stolen.
Delone was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Jason W. Johnson, 33, 912 10th St, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 5:31pm at a retail store
in Bayou Vista for theft of goods.

Anson T. Paul, 35, 407 Liner St, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 5:31pm at a retail store
in Bayou Vista for theft of goods.

A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter. Upon arrival store security told the deputy that Johnson and
Paul were observed opening bottles of cologne and concealing it in their pockets. The merchandise is valued
at about $215. Both suspects were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Both were later released on a $1000 bond.

Gary L. Smith, 52, 2137 Becnel St, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 6:52pm for possession of a
firearm with an obliterated number, possession of Schedule II (Lortab), and possession of Legend Drug (Cipro). A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the above residence. During the course of the investigation the deputy observed several guns and a pill bottle in the residence. Two of the guns serial numbers were obliterated. Lortab and Cipro were located in the pill bottle. Smith was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond had been set at the time of the press release.

Dwayne Harmon, 33, 770 Penn Rd. North, Baldwin, LA was arrested on July 15, 2012 at 11:02pm on an
Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of following too close.
A deputy located Harmon at the address above and following an investigation transported Harmon to the
parish jail for booking. He was later transferred to IPSO jurisdiction.
