According to Sheriff Mark Hebert during the holiday period the Sheriff's Office responded to 75 complaints and reports the following additional information:
Robert L. Arceneaux, 41, 202 Cypremort Rd, Four Corners, LA was arrested on July 3, 2012 at 1:03pm at the above address on the charge of simple battery. The deputy responded to a complaint of a battery. Witnesses stated that the suspect was attempting to flee the area on a bicycle. The victim told the deputy that Arceneaux entered the kitchen of his home. The victim confronted Arceneaux. Arceneaux committed a battery upon the victim, slapping him in the face repeatedly. The deputy located the suspect, placed him under arrest and transported him to the parish jail for processing and incarceration. Arceneaux was released on a $500 bond.
Kelly Killingsworth, 34, 112 Dotties Ln, Franklin, Louisiana was arrested for driving under suspension on Hwy. 83 in the Ashton area on July 3, 2012 at 2:28pm. Deputy was responding to a complaint of a subject causing a disturbance at a residence.
While at the home, the deputy observed Killingsworth driving by at a high rate of speed in a vehicle fitting the witnesses description. The deputy conducted an investigative stop and discovered that Killingsworth license had been suspended.
The suspect was placed under arrest and released on a summons to appear in court.
Albert T. Hebert, Jr., 47, 100 Watson Ln, Patterson, LA
was arrested at the address above on July 3, 2012 at 2:06pm for driving under suspension, 2 counts battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force or violence and attempting to disarm a peace officer. Responding to a complaint about a subject causing a disturbance at a lounge in the Bayou Vista area, the deputy received a description of suspect and his vehicle. The suspect was located at his residence and after several requests for Hebert to exit the home, he complied. The suspect then became hostile pushing and yelling at the deputy. During the deputy's attempt to arrest the suspect, Hebert attempted to disarm the deputy. Following a brief scuffle, Hebert was subdued and placed under arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
Ever Enemcio, 25, Lydia Plantation, Jeanerette, LA
was arrested on July 4, 2012 at 3:44pm at Cypremort Point State Park for operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States and possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle. The deputy responded to a vehicle crash at Cypremort Point State Park. When the deputy arrived he learned from a Wildlife and Fisheries Agent, that one of the drivers involved in the crash had attempted to leave the scene. The agent detained the suspect. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that Enemcio did not have a drivers license and admitted to the deputy that he was in the United States illegally. Enemcio was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
Catherine L. Crockett, 21, 483 Utah St, Berwick, LA
was arrested on July 4, 2012 at 7:01pm at Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista for theft of goods. Crockett was observed by store security concealing items in a back pack and pocket. Following an investigation by the responding deputy, Crockett was issued a summons to appear in court.
Michael Baker, 39, 818 Walnut Dr, Morgan City
was arrested on July 5, 2012 at 1:53am on Hwy 182 near Industry Rd. for driving while intoxicated first offense, general speed law and improper lane usage. The deputy observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. Upon coming into contact with Baker, the deputy observe the suspect swaying back and forth. Baker performed poorly on the field sobriety test. Following his arrest, Baker registered a .15g% blood alcohol content on the Intoxilyzer 5000. Baker was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
