According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jahmard Paddio 19 yoa of 813 Railroad Ave., Morgan City was arrested on 6-6-2012 at 3:14 pm for Theft by shoplifting. A deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to a shoplifter. Upon the deputy's arrival, store Security advised the deputy that the suspect was observed taking video games and concealing. The value of the items were totaled at $39.92. After the investigation the suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 9-12-2012.

Debrianti Scott 19 yoa of 231 Mitchell St., Franklin was arrested on 6-6-2012 at 3:15 pm on a warrant for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. The suspect turned herself into the Sheriff's Office after learning of a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 9-12-2012.

Shawanda McBride 28 yoa of 100 T. J. Hatcherson St., Baldwin was arrested on 6-6-2012 at 5:20 pm on a warrant for Simple Battery. The suspect turned herself into the Sheriff's Office after learning of a warrant for her arrest. the suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and later released.

Marc C Ramsey 31 yoa of 606 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista and Andrew S. Hall 32 yoa of 1213 Onstead St., Morgan City were arrested on 6-6-2012 at 6:23 pm for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting with Hall also being arrested on a warrant for five counts of Unauthorized Use of an Access Card. A deputy was called to the Corner of Saturn and
Clark Road in Bayou Vista in reference of a fight. Upon the deputy's arrival it was learned from the suspects that they were involved in an argument that turned into a fistic encounter. During the investigation it was also learned of a warrant for Hall's arrest. After the investigation suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with Ramsey having a $250.00 bond and Hall having no bond at this time.

Tonya Baker 27 yoa of 101 3 B's Lane # 11, Bayou Vista was arrested on 6-7-2012 at 2:21 am for Simple Battery. A deputy was called to Temptation Club in Amelia in reference a disturbance. Upon the deputy's arrival it was learned that an argument occurred with suspect committing a battery upon another subject. After the investigation the suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond at this time.
