According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Austin D. Bercegeay 17 yoa of 816 Hilda St., Morgan City was arrested on 4-23-2012 at 11:35 pm for Theft by Shoplifting. A deputy was called to the Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to a shoplifter. Upon the deputy's arrival, a store employee informed the deputy that the suspect was observed concealing two video games valued at $49.92. After an investigation, the suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-11-2012.
