According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jason Bordelon 23 yoa of 805 Waterworks Dr., Amelia and Misael Garcia 29 yoa of 1118 Lakeview Dr., Amelia were arrested on 4-18-2012 at 7:18 am for Disturbing the Peace. Deputy was called to 805 Waterworks Dr. in Amelia in reference to a disturbance. Upon Deputy's arrival it was learned that suspect were involved in an argument that led to a fistic encounter. After investigation both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $250.00 bond. Bordelon was later released and Garcia is being held in the parish jail at this time.

Samuel D. Rock 201 Elaine St., Morgan City was arrested on 4-18-2012 at 3:07 pm on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Suspect turned himself into the Morgan City Sheriff's Office after learning of a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-11-2012.
