According to Sheriff Mark Hebert during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Robert Salvador Rotolo, 36, 1017 Rosemary Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 30, 2012 at 7:47 am on Victoria Riverside Road in Patterson for simple assault. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance learned from witnesses that during an argument Rotolo verbally abused the victim calling him names and wanting to fight him. Rotolo was released on a summons to appear in court on January 16, 2012.
Mark Anthony Wesley, 17, 270 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 30, 2012 at 4:07 pm at Walmart in Bayou Vista, LA for theft. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a complaint of a shoplifter. Upon arriving at the store the deputy learned from store security that Wesley was observed taking mobile phone cases. Wesley was released on a summons to appear in court on January 16, 2012.
Gregory Payne, 37, 1900 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 30, 2012 at 7:17 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a food stamp card. A deputy responding to a separate complaint came into contact with Payne and learned of the warrant for his arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation into a stolen SNAP card. The investigating deputy located surveillance footage of Payne using the card at a local store. Payne was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
