The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:
Melvin Duval Jr. 44 years old of 701 Versen St., Berwick was arrested on 5-25-2010 at 8:25 pm for Possession of Marijuana. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Sixth St.in Berwick, when they conducted an investigative stop on above suspect walking. During investigation suspect was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 9-8-2010.
Cybil Andorf 35 years old of 1305 Middle Road, Bayou Vista was arrested on 5-25-2010 at 8:34 pm for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS in the Presence of a Juvenile, Failure to Use Signal and a warrant for Patterson Police Department for Failure to Appear for Traffic Violation. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Bayou Vista area, when above suspect vehicle failed to use signal and a traffic stop was conducted. During investigation consent to search was obtained with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia being located. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a$4750.00 bond at this time.
Joshua Johnson 24 years old of 211 Canary St., Morgan City, Trent Madise 27 yoa of 3115 Roselawn Dr., Morgan City and Jenry Craft 28 yoa of 1429 Railroad Ave., Morgan City were arrested on 5-25-2010 at 10:22 pm for Possession of Marijuana and Craft also being charged with Possession of Xanax. Agents were patrolling Orange St. in Morgan City when they observed suspect vehicle parked in the roadway going the Opposite direction and conducted a traffic stop. Upon Agents approaching vehicle a burnt marijuana smell was emitting from the vehicle. Agents conducted an investigation and located marijuana a pill bottle containing xanax in the vehicle. After investigation suspects were placed under arrest with Johnson being issued a summons to appear in court on 9-8-2010 and Madise and Craft being booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
