St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force arrest: Feb. 23, 2010

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

Rontreve Goodman 21 yoa of Lawrence St., Morgan City was arrested on 2-22-2010 at 9:07 pm for Possession of Marijuana. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling Federal and Laurel St area in Morgan City when they conducted a traffic stop on above suspect vehicle for a burnt headlight. Upon Agents making contact with suspect a bag of marijuana was observed on the passenger seat of vehicle. Upon further investigation several burnt marijuana cigarettes were located in the ash tray. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 5-5-2010.
