St.Mary Parish Narcotics Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

Erick Songe, 18, 1009 Third St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 8, 2013 at 5:14 pm on Shannon Street in Morgan City for possession of synthetic cannabinoids 2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of CDS law (drug free zone), abuse of toxic vapors, obstruction of justice. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Morgan City area observed a subject throw an object to the ground. Detectives made contact with the subject who was identified as Songe and located the object. Detectives then determined that the object Songe threw was a synthetic cannabinoid cigarette. Through an investigation detectives located synthetic cannabinoids and rolling papers on Songe's person. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration.

Keldon Jones, 19, 519 Leo St. Patterson, LA was arrested on March 8, 2013 at 4:45 pm on Freret Street near Fifth Street in Morgan City, LA for possession of synthetic cannabinoids and abuse of toxic vapors. Narcotics Detectives patrolling the Morgan City area made contact with a subject identified as Keldon Jones. Detectives located synthetic cannabinoids on his person. Jones was released on a summons to appear in court on June, 12, 2013.
