St. Mary Parish Narcotics Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

Jordan Watson, 25, 1604 Cherry St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 20, 2014 at 7:29 pm on the following charges
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Resisting an officer
Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone)
2 warrants for simple battery
Warrant for domestic abuse battery
Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unlawful use of an ID to gain access to a gaming establishment

Dashawn Moore, 18, 1015 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 20, 2014 at 7:29 pm on the following charges:
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone

David Picou Jr., 18, 1005 Delmar Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 20, 2014 at 7:29 pm on the following charges
No drivers license
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone

Tyrin Watts, 19, 512 Levee Rd Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 20, 2014 at 7:29 pm on the following charges
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone

Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed a pick-up truck fail to come to a complete stop at the intersection of Field Street and Saturn Road. Detectives conducted a traffic stop. As detectives approached the vehicle, one of the passengers exited the vehicle and fled. Detectives detained the driver identified as Picou, and two passengers identified as Moore and Watts. During the traffic stop investigation, detectives located marijuana and a handgun inside the truck. Moore, Watts, and Picou were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. Continuing the investigation, detectives identified the fourth subject who ran from the truck as Watson. Watson was located at a residence on Jupiter Street. He was found to be in possession of Suboxone strips. Watson transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.


Uston Rock, 26, 201 Elaine Street, Bayou L'ourse, LA was arrested on March 20, 2014 at 6:09 pm on the following charges:
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana) 2nd offense
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone
Introduction of contraband into penal facility.

Narcotics detectives patrolling the Bayou Vista area when they observed a pick- up truck fail to stop at the posted stop sign at Southeast Blvd. and Canal Road. Detectives conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, detectives made contact with a passenger, identified as Rock. After receiving consent to search his person, detectives located a bag of marijuana on Rock. A check of Rock's criminal history showed a marijuana conviction in 2008. Rock was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. During the booking process, Rock was also found to be in possession of a burnt marijuana cigarette commonly referred to as a "roach." No bond is set.
