St. Mary Parish Narcotics Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

Christian Marcel, 33, 202 Kathleen St. Patterson, LA was arrested on November 15, 2031 at 4:07 pm on the following charges:

Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
Operation of a clandestine laboratory
Possession of Schedule II (Roxicodone)
Possession of Schedule II (Lortab)
Possession of drug paraphernalia

John Q. Lyons, 48, 920 Irish Bend Rd. St. Joseph, LA was arrested on November 15, 2013 at 6:14 pm on the following charges:

Operation of a clandestine laboratory
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Manufacturing of methamphetamine

Cyrilla Lyons, 48, 119 Neptune Lane, Grand Isle, LA was arrested on November 15, 2013 at 6:14 pm on the following charges:

Operation of clandestine laboratory
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Manufacturing of methamphetamine
Possession of marijuana, 2nd offense

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducted an investigation into Marcel purchasing over the counter drugs (Sudafed) for use in a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. Detectives located Marcel on Highway 90 in Berwick. Marcel was found to be in possession of methamphetamine on his person. After receiving consent to search his vehicle, detectives located more methamphetamine, Lortab pills, Roxicodone pills, drug paraphernalia items, and several precursor items used in the manufacturing of meth.
Detectives also learned the location of the methamphetamine lab and continued their investigation at Lake End Park in Morgan City. Detectives made contact with John and Cyrilla Lyons in a tent at the park. John Lyons was found to be in possession of a bag of methamphetamine on his person. Detectives received consent to search the tent and located several precursor items used in the making of methamphetamine. Detectives also found a bag of marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia including needles and a digital scale. The area was secured. Detectives contacted a clean-up crew to collect the hazardous material. All three subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
