According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Edward Lamonte Williams, 38, 239 ½ Coulee St. Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 25, 2013 at 2:58 pm was arrested on the following charges:
Distribution of marijuana
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of juveniles
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
Remaining where forbidden
Brontriaze Weber, 17, 117 Collins St Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 25, 2013 at 1:37 pm on the following charges:
Possession of Schedule III (Lortab) with intent to distribute
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
Violation of a CDS l (drug free zone)
Juvenile female, 16, Baldwin was arrested on September 25, 2013 at 4:30 pm for distribution of Schedule III (Lortab) 2 counts and violation of a CDS law (drug free zone).
Detectives of the St Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division were contacted to conduct an investigation into illegal narcotics located at West St. Mary High School. During the investigation, detectives learned that a 16 year old juvenile female supplied Weber and another juvenile with Lortab pills. Detectives continued the investigation at 239 1/2 Coulee St. in Baldwin. Upon arrival, a detective witnessed Williams give a juvenile a bag of marijuana. Several juveniles were present at the time. Detectives also learned that Williams held several outstanding warrants for his arrest. Williams and Weber were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. The juvenile was released to her parents pending juvenile court proceedings.
