According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Ryan Louviere, 31, 131 Schawn Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on August 12, 2013 at 4:20 pm for possession of cocaine. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling the St. Joseph area observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Bray Lane and Irish Bend Rd. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with a passenger identified as Louviere. While speaking with Louviere, detectives observed suspected crack cocaine in plain view on his shirt. Louviere was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Draper Queen, 31, 1141 Roussel Street, Houma, LA was arrested on August 21, 2013 at 9:32 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives patrolling the Amelia area observed a vehicle make an improper turn on Highway 182 and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with a passenger in the vehicle identified as Queen and received consent to search his person. Detectives located a plastic straw with suspected cocaine residue on it. Queen was released on a summons to appear in court on November 6, 2013.
