St. Mary Parish Narcotics Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Quinton D. Robinson, 27, 501 ½ Ninth Street Lot #10, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 24, 2013 at 10:20 am on a warrant for failure to register and notify as a sex offender. Robinson was convicted in 2006 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile. During a routine sex offender compliance check, a detective learned that Robinson had moved from his Franklin address without notifying law enforcement. After learning of the warrant for his arrest, Robinson turned himself in to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,000 bond. A picture of Robinson is included.

Michelle Renee Ashley, 43, 916 Highway 182, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 24, 2013 at 4:21 pm for theft of goods and remaining where forbidden.

Mikel James Ashley, 42, 121 Calumet Cut Lane, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on July 24, 2013 at 4:21 pm for theft of goods and remaining where forbidden.

While patrolling the Bayou Vista area, a deputy responded to a request to remove two subjects from Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security that two subjects who had been banned from the location were seen in the store. The deputy located the subjects and identified them as Mikel and Michelle Ashley. During the investigation, the deputy located stolen items in Mikel Ashley's pockets and in Michelle Ashley's purse. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set for $1,500 each.
