According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Crystal Todd Billiot, 36, 120 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 29, 2013 at 1:36 pm for driving under suspension and possession of crack cocaine. She is also charged on warrants for theft and parole violation.
Latisha Marie Cantrelle, 30, 3202 West 32nd Avenue D, Larose, LA was arrested on May 29, 2013 at 1:36 pm for possession of crack cocaine.
While patrolling the Amelia area, a detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division observed the driver of a vehicle fail to properly signal a turn at the intersection of Friendship Alley and Lake Palourde Road. The detective conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and passenger, identified as Billiot and Cantrelle. The detective learned that Billiot was driving under suspension. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, the detective located crack cocaine. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set for Billiot or Cantrelle.
The warrant for Billiot on the charge of theft stems from an investigation that began on March 8, 2013 when the SMPSO received a complaint of a theft. The victim told the investigating deputy that he allowed an unknown female subject to use the restroom in his home. The complainant stated that while in his home, the subject took his wallet and then left from the residence.
Wolfe Levy, II, 31, 1228 Onstead St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 29, 2013 at 5:08 pm for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The result of a joint investigation with Morgan City Police, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at Levy's residence. During the course of the investigation, detectives located methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. Also, detectives seized two vehicles pending forfeiture. Levy was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $20,000 bond.
