According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Louis Anthony Concienne Jr., 42, 516 Gail St. Patterson, LA was arrested on March 7, 2013 at 3:24 pm for possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division and Officers with the Berwick Police Department conducted a joint narcotics investigation at the Hollywood Truck Stop in Berwick. Officers received a complaint involving illegal narcotics activity. During the investigation, detectives and officers located Concienne inside the casino area of the business and found him to be in possession of methamphetamine. Concienne transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Delone Miller, 50, 6102 N. Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, LA was arrested on March 7, 2013 at 8:10 pm for tail lights required, driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule IV (Valium), and on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Amelia area observed a vehicle without proper tail lights and conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 182. Detectives made contact with the driver and identified him as Miller. During the course of the investigation detectives located marijuana, Valium pills, and items of drug paraphernalia. Miller was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
