The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:
Heidi Songe 35 yoa of 1009 Third St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-9-2012 at 2:24 pm for Entering Contraband into a Penal Facility, Distribution of Loritabs, Distribution of Methamphetamines, Distribution of Tramadol, Possession of a Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation of Drug Free Zone (School).
Karen Thibodeaux 44 yoa of 2994 Fourth St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-9-2012 at 2:24 pm for Entering Contraband into a Penal Facility, Distribution of Loritabs, Distribution of Methamphetamines and Distribution of Tramadol.
Morgan Currington 19 yoa of 243 N. Verrett St., Amelia was arrested on 3-9-2012 at 2:24 pm for Possession of Loritabs, Possession of CDS in the Presence of a Juvenile and Violation of CDS Law Drug Free Zone( School).
Cody Thibodeaux 21 yoa of 272 Washington Ave., Fort Walton Beach, Fla. was arrested on 3-9-2012 at 2:24 pm on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Simple Battery.
Juvenile Male 16 yoa of Morgan City were arrested on 3-9-2012 at 2:24 pm for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of CDS in Drug Free Zone (school) and Obstruction of Justice.
Agents of the Narcotics Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation at the parish jail where Agents intercepted a package of contraband containing loritab pills, Tramadol pills, Methamphetamine, tobacco, cell phone and rolling papers that was attempted to be smuggled inside the jail premises by Heidi Songe and Karen Thibodeaux. The Investigation led to a search warrant for 1009 Third St. in Morgan City the residence of Heidi Songe. Agents conducted a search and located marijuana, packaging material and a loritab pill. Three additional Suspects were arrested at the residence. The residence is located 2000 feet from ShannonElementary School. The suspects were booked into the parish jail with no bonds at this time. Juvenile was processed and released to guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
