St. Mary Parish Daily Narcotics Arrest Log - January 23, 2012:
Jane Gugliotta 42 yoa of 3891 Francis St., Berwick was arrested on 1-20-2012 at 3:07 pm on a warrant for Possession of Soma. Suspect was located at her residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $5000.00 bond and was later released.
Chad Kirkland 27 yoa of 426 Field St., Bayou Vista and Katie Couvillier 21 yoa of 3615 Gus Dr., New Iberia, La. were arrested on 1-20-2012 at 6:47 pm for Possession of Adderal and Possession of Marijuana. Agents were patrolling the Bayou Vista area, when they conducted a traffic stop on suspect vehicle for crossing the center line on Universe St... During investigation Morgan City Police Department K-9 was called to the scene with K-9 alerting on the vehicle. A search of vehicle was conducted with Agents locating marijuana and Adderal pills. After investigation above suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $7,000.00 bonds. Couvillier was later released but Kirkland is being held in the parish jail at this time.
