St. Mary Parish Daily Narcotics Arrest Log - December 19, 2011:
Carley Griffin 27 yoa of 207 Arizona St., Morgan City was arrested on 12-16-2011 at 12:13 pm on warrants for three counts of Distribution of Cocaine. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Bayou Vista area, when suspect was located on Arlington St. and he was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
Christopher Soto 23 yoa of 139 Domino St., Patterson was arrested on 12-16-2011 at 6:58 pm for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Obstruction of Justice and Resisting an Officer by Flight. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Amelia area, when they located suspect standing near his vehicle in the middle of the roadway, Agents approached suspect at which time he began to run and was observed throwing an item. Agents apprehended suspect after a short foot pursuit and located a bag of marijuana that suspect had thrown. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
