St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report July 7, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the holiday weekend reporting period (Thursday-Sunday), the Sheriff's Office responded to 173 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Mindy Aucoin, 35, 165 Cane Road, Cenetrville, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 7:10 am for violation of the vicious animal ordinance and leash law ordinance. A deputy responding to an animal complaint learned that Aucoin's dog attacked another dog. The deputy released Aucoin on a summons to appear in court on October 13, 2014.

Ruben Robles, 39, 105 Brito Boulevard, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 8:06 am for simple assault, simple criminal damage to property, and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance on Barrow Street determined that Robles and another male were involved in a fight. During the altercation, Robles damaged a vehicle by punching it. The deputy transported Robles to the parish jail. No bond is set.

Nicholas Brison, 25, 501 Roderick Street, Apt. #14, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 10:56 am on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Brison on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista on the warrant. A deputy transported Brison to the parish jail. Bond is set at $100,000.

Gloria Davis, 29, 1507 Live Oak Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 11:57 am on a warrant for theft of goods. A deputy located Davis at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin on the warrant. The deputy released Davis on a summons to appear in court on October 13, 2014.

Krystal Meranta, 25, 206 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 12:18 pm on three warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Meranta at a residence on Yellow Bayou Road in Centerville on the warrants. The deputy transported Meranta o the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.

Megan R. Gaudet, 22, 136 Perro Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 1:13 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without a driver's license. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, a booking officer learned of the warrant for her arrest from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office.

Kody Leger, 36, 702 Hilda Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 3:12 pm for theft. A deputy investigating a complaint of a theft from a residence in Bayou Vista, identified Leger as a suspect in the crime. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Leger took a gaming system from a residence while he was there making a delivery on behalf of the company for which he worked. The deputy located the gaming system in Leger's possession at a residence in Berwick. The deputy transported Leger to the parish jail for booking. Leger was later released on a $1,000.

Joshua Perro, 25, 179 Eves Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 9:11 pm for simple battery and simple assault. A deputy responding to a complaint of a fight on Eves Street identified Perro as the subject who struck a male victim and made verbal threats towards the victim. The deputy transported Perro to the parish jail. No bond is set.

Albert Mitchell, 57, 138 Third Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 3, 2014 at 10:06 pm for improper lane usage and failure to comply with orders to install an ignition interlock system. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Charenton Road and learned that the driver, Mitchell, was required to have an interlock system installed. No such device was located on the vehicle. The deputy transported Mitchell to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.

Ashley Ina, 31, 173 S. Beadle Road, Lafayette, LA was arrested on July 4, 2014 at 2:36 am for possession of Schedule I. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Highway 182 in the Baldwin area made contact with Ina who was a passenger in the vehicle. During the course of the stop, the deputy located a small bag of marijuana in her possession. The deputy transported Ina to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $5,000 bond.

Julien Roge, 28, 366 Highway 495 Cloutierville, LA was arrested on July 4, 2014 at 11:03 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated), obstruction of justice, battery of a police officer, and public intimidation.

Justin Rachal, 34, 1987 Old River Road, Natchitoches, LA was arrested on July 4, 204 at 11:11 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated).

A deputy responded to a complaint of a fight at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia. Upon arrival, the deputy located several subjects who appeared to be highly intoxicated. As the deputy conducted an investigation into the complaint, Roge attempted to walk away from the area. The deputy detained Roge who then made verbal threats against the deputy. During Roge's subsequent arrest, he attempted to pull away from the deputy. During the same investigation, Rachal was also arrested on the above listed charge.
The deputy transported both subjects to the parish jail for booking. Rachal was released on a $500 bond. Roge was later released on a $19,000 bond.

Wanya M. Francis, 19, 1503 Live Oak Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 5, 2014 at 7:09 am on a warrant for simple criminal damage to property. A deputy located Francis at his residence on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of sugar being poured into the gas tank of a vehicle. The deputy assigned to the case determined that Francis was the subject who damaged the vehicle. Francis was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.

Daniel Miller, Jr., 211 Cedar Street, Franklin, LA was arrested at 1:06 pm on a warrant for distribution of cocaine. Miller was brought to the parish jail by probation and parole on the warrant which stems from an undercover operation in which Miller sold cocaine to an undercover officer. Miller was booked and later released on a $15,000 bond.
