According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Tina Ordoyne, 35, 116 Railroad Alley, Gibson, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 2:47 pm for theft of goods.
Onise Lirette, 31, 314 Mahler Street, Houma, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 2:47 pm for theft of goods.
A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at a store in Amelia. The deputy learned from store personnel that Ordoyne attempted to leave the store with items she had not purchased. When Ordoyne was confronted by store personnel she emptied her purse of the $69.26 worth of items she was attempting to steal. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Lirette aided in the crime by concealing the items in Ordoyne's purse. The deputy released both subjects on summonses to appear in court on August 22, 2014.
Arthur Gant, 54, 410 Cleveland Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:20 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Gant was seen concealing items on his person before leaving the store without paying for the goods. Gant was released on a summons to appear in court on August 22, 2014.
T'kiyah K. Harrison, 19, 156 St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:57 pm for contributing to the endangerment of a minor.
Derranika Jackson, 20, 771 Deforrest Brown Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:57 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).
Destinee Sims, 20, 130 St. Joseph Lane Street, St. Joseph, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:57 pm for possession of marijuana, disturbing the peace (fighting), and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone).
Juvenile female, 15, Centerville, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:57 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).
Juvenile female, 15, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 3:57 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).
Deputies working a separate complaint in the Verdunville area observed several subjects fighting in a playground on Clausen Road South. As deputies approached the group of subjects, some of them fled on foot while others entered into vehicles to flee the scene. A deputy on foot followed the subjects running from the area while other deputies initiated stops on the vehicles. All subjects involved were stopped, detained, and brought back to the scene of the fight. Narcotics detectives arrived to assist deputies in the investigation. While speaking with the subjects, deputies learned that Jackson, Sims, and two 15 year old juvenile females were fighting on the playground. Harrison knowingly transported one of the juveniles to the area to fight. Also, narcotics detectives located marijuana in Simms purse. Harrison, Jackson, and Simms were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Harrison was released on a $2,500. Jackson was released on a $500 bond. Simms was released on a $3,500 bond. The two juveniles were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Tommy Donati, II, 31, 102 Carter Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on May 15, 2014 at 6:16 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Warrant for theft
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana
- 2 warrants for probation violation
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division located Donati at a residence on Levee Road in Morgan City on the warrants. The warrant for theft stems from an investigation into a theft of cash (under $100). Following his arrest, detectives located a syringe on Donati. Detectives transported Donati to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
