According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Blanchard, Sr., 45, 123 Palmer Lane Centerville, LA was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 6:22 am for simple arson. Deputies responded to a 911 call of a fire at a residence on Palmer Lane in Centerville. Upon arrival, deputies found the home engulfed in flames. Deputies received information from witnesses at the scene indicating that the fire may have been started on purpose. During the course of the subsequent investigation, the deputy learned that Blanchard verbally threatened the property owner the previous morning. The deputy also gathered evidence linking Blanchard to the crime. This case is under investigation by the Louisiana State Fire Marshall's Office. A picture of Blanchard is included with this release.
Damarcus D. Mcneal, 17, no address given, was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 9:40 am for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. A deputy received a report of a subject entering a residence that was supposed to be vacant on Darlene Street in Patterson. The deputy made contact with Mcneal who was inside the residence. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned from the property owner that Mcneal had entered into the residence without permission. Mcneal was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Corey Listi, 51, 1411 West St. Mary Boulevard, Lafayette, LA was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 12:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, operating a vehicle without a drivers license, vehicle license required. A deputy located Listi at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. The deputy transported Listi to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $10,000.
Ameedah Charles-Kenner, 21, 917 Short Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 5:26 pm on warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on the charges of theft of goods, interfering with a law enforcement investigation, and disturbing the peace. Kenner was transported to the parish jail from the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrants.
Breonne L. Bowie, 26, 421 Lockette Road #2, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 7:52 pm on 8 warrants from the Franklin Police Department for the following charges:
- 2 counts simple criminal damage to property
- 2 counts stop sign or yield sign violation
- 6 counts driving under suspension
- General speed law
- Resisting an officer by flight
- Possession of stolen things
- No record of vehicle insurance
- Aggravated obstruction of a highway
Bowie turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville after learning of the warrants for his arrest. No bond is set.
Duke Guidroz, 28, 1104 Rene-Oguidry Road, Breaux Bridge, LA was arrested on May 13, 2014 at 11:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a Schedule I drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle without a license. A deputy booked Guidroz on the warrant at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. No bond is set.
T.J. Williams, IV, 21, 114 St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 14, 2014 at 2:27 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy made contact with Williams in the Baldwin area and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Williams to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $5,775.56.
