According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 415 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Joseph Gary, 28, 208 Henry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 24, 2014 at 10:05 am on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Gary at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. The deputy transported Gary to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.
John Finister, V, 21, 104 Chris Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on June 24, 2014 at 10:29 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Finister at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin on the warrants. The deputy transported FInister to the parish jail for booking. Bond is set at $8,434.12.
Lakisha Butler, 29, 126 Judy Lane, Lot #7, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 24, 2014 at 6:13 pm on a warrant for hit and run driving and simple criminal damage to property. Butler turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation of a hit run in which a vehicle struck a mobile home. A deputy transported Butler to the parish jail for booking. Bond is set at $1,250.
George Jones, Jr., 45, 314 9th Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 24, 2014 at 10:34 pm for domestic abuse battery, resisting an officer by flight, and public intimidation. A deputy responded to a report of a possible domestic battery at a residence in Charenton. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Jones struck a female victim in the face. The deputy went to Mechanic Street to locate Jones. Upon arrival, the deputy found Jones attempting to flee out of the rear of the residence. Following the investigation, the deputy transported Jones to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set. A picture of Jones is included.
Ryan Leblanc, 25, 608 Park Place Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 24, 2014 at 10:22 pm on the following charges:
- Operation of a clandestine laboratory
- Possession of Schedule II (Dolophine)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
At approximately 8:00 pm, an off duty deputy observed a subject exit the above listed residence with a container that was on fire. The off duty deputy recognized the object as a possible component of a methamphetamine laboratory and contacted narcotics detectives. Upon arrival, detectives spoke with the resident, identified as Leblanc. Detectives received consent to search Leblanc's residence and located a clandestine lab and items used in making methamphetamine. Detectives also located a Dolophine pill and a syringe inside the residence. Detectives transported Leblanc the parish jail for booking. No bond is set. A cleanup crew was contacted to remove the active lab. A picture of Leblanc is included.
