According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Hartfield, 50, 106 Chris Lane Lot #3, Centerville, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 9:43 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding. Hartfield was being booked at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center when the active warrant through this department was discovered. No bond is set.
Andre'ney Broussard, 17, 1039 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 10:22 am on a warrant for simple battery. A deputy located Broussard at a residence on Wilson Street in Franklin on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into a disturbance at a residence on Highway 87 in Glenco. The deputy learned that Broussard and a female subject were involved in an argument when Broussard struck the female victim. Following her arrest on the warrant, Broussard was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $500 bond.
Tina Dupre, 43, 111 Tut Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 10:40 am for speeding and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on LA Highway 70 near Lake End Park in Morgan City. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Dupre, and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Dupre to the parish jail for booking. Dupre was released on a $1,250 bond.
Leonell Walker, 46, 606 Kelli Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 11:11 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Walker at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on the warrant. Walker was later released on a summons to appear in court on October 27, 2014.
Mandi Hatfield, 27, 1428 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 11:30 am on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Hatfield at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on the warrant. The deputy transported Hatfield to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.
Jason Leblanc, 37, 133 Lagonda Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 26, 2014 at 5:42 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse)
- Operation of clandestine laboratory
- Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
- Manufacturing methamphetamine
- Possession of Legend Drug (Marcaine with epinephrine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 133 Lagonda Lane. During the course of the investigation, detectives located marijuana, epinephrine, methamphetamine, several items of drug paraphernalia, Vyvanse pills, and items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Leblanc was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bond is set.
