St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Ashley Francois, 27, 111 St. Clair Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 9, 2014 at 11:42 am on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status hearing and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court on the charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. A deputy located Francois at a business on Brashear Avenue on the warrant. Francois was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $100,000.

Garrett Dugas, 24, 1014 Bayou Driver, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on April 9, 2014 at 12:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy transported Dugas to the ST. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from the Assumption Parish jail. No bond is set.

Deborah Bourgeois, 25, 929 East Second Street, Larose, LA was arrested on April 9, 2014 at 5:17 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. Bourgeois was turned in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrant. No bond is set.

Jessica Abshire, 18, 407 Shell Beach Road, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on April 9, 2014 at 7:13 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. A deputy made contact with Abshire during a traffic stop on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. During the traffic stop investigation, the deputy learned that Abshire had an active warrant for her arrest. She was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Abshire was later released on a $324.50 bond.

Brandon Jordan, 19, 127 Inez Drive, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 9, 2014 at 10:55 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana). A deputy conducting a building check at the West St. Mary Civic Center observed two vehicles parked in the parking lot. Two subjects were seen sitting inside one of the vehicles. The deputy made contact with both subjects and observed a green vegetative substance on one the subject's clothing. The subject was identified as Jordan. The deputy received consent to search Jordan's vehicle which was parked nearby and located two small bags of marijuana. A third bag of marijuana was located where Jordan had been sitting during the search of the vehicle. Jordon was released on a summons to appear in court on July 11, 2014.
