According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Payton, 26, 407 Liner Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 2, 2014 at 2:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of a Schedule I drug, no drivers license, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. He is also charged on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy transported Payton from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. Payton was released on a $5,500 bond.
Leonell Walker, 37, 606 Kelli Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 2, 2014 at 3:21 pm on 4 warrants for issuing worthless checks. Walker turned herself in to a deputy in Patterson after learning of the warrants for her arrest. Walker was released on a summons to appear in court on July 11, 2014.
Rhonda Lodrigue, 37, 125 Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 2, 2014 at 6:11 pm for simple battery and resisting an officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Saturn Road in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Lodrigue scratched a female victim on the neck. During her arrest, Lodrigue repeatedly pulled away from the deputy. Lodrigue was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $1,500.
