St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Hollie Williams, 33, 445 Flattown Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 8:56 am on two warrants from City Court of Jeanerette for simple criminal damage to property and violation of a protective order. A deputy received information that Williams held active warrants for her arrest and located her at her residence. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Williams was later released to Jeanerette Police on those charges.

Nicole C. Harris, 40, 638 Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 1:56 pm for theft of goods.

Passion M. Harris, 17, 638 Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 1:56 pm for theft of goods.

A deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Store personnel told the deputy that N. Harris and P. Harris were seen concealing items in their purses and then leaving the store without paying for the goods. Both were released on summonses to appear in court on June 12, 2014.

Mark Rentrop, Jr., 22, 331 Highway 663, Bayou L'ourse, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 6:14 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, allowing an unlicensed driver to drive, and resisting an officer.

Sarah Flynn, 23, 405 Westside Boulevard, Houma, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 6:50 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana), no drivers license, and stop signs and yield signs violation.

A deputy patrolling the Amelia area saw a vehicle run a stop sign at the intersection of Lake Palourde Drive and Highway 182 Frontage Road nearly colliding with another vehicle. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Flynn, and passenger, identified as Rentrop. It was then that the deputy discovered that Flynn did not have a license to drive. While speaking with the two occupants, the deputy smelled the odor of burning marijuana emanating from the passenger side of the vehicle. The deputy received consent to search Rentrop's person and the car. During the search, the deputy located marijuana in Rentrop's pocket and a piece of a burnt marijuana cigarette inside the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to the parish jail. Upon arrival at the facility, Rentrop refused to exit the patrol unit and began yelling and cursing at the deputy. Also, Rentrop began to thrash around violently inside the vehicle. As he was being escorted to the booking area, Rentrop repeatedly pulled away from the deputy. No bond is set. Flynn was released on a summons to appear in court on June 12, 2014.

Labron E. Lee, 21, 317 North 13th Street, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on March 19, 2014 at 11:33 pm on the following charges:
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
Possession of Schedule II (crack cocaine)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
License plate light required
No drivers license
A deputy travelling on Highway 90 observed a vehicle with no license plate light and conducted a traffic stop in Bayou Vista. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Lee, the deputy smelled the strong odor of burning marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw marijuana and a cigar wrap in Lee's lap. During the traffic stop investigation, the deputy learned that Lee did not have a drivers license. Lee was transported to the parish jail. As is standard operating procedure, the back of the deputy's patrol unit was inspected for contraband following the transport of the subject. During this regular search, the deputy located a small piece of crack cocaine wrapped in plastic. No bond is set for Lee.
