St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 112 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile male, 16, was arrested on February 7, 2014 at 9:33 am at St. Mary Parish Alternative School for assault on a school teacher. The juvenile was released to a guardian ending juvenile court proceedings.

Hollie Williams, 33, 445 Flatown Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on February 7, 2014 at 10:18 am on a warrant from Jeanerette for domestic abuse battery. A deputy made contact with Williams at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Williams was released on a $1,500 bond.

Ronald E. Freeman, 52, 3219 Highway 87, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 8, 2014 at 5:28 am for disturbing the peace intoxicated, criminal trespass, and on a warrant for 2 counts issuing worthless checks. A deputy responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle near a residence on Deforest Brown Road in Centerville. Upon arrival, the deputy also learned from the complainant that a male subject was seen on the property. While searching the area, the deputy made contact with Freeman and smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The deputy identified Freeman as the subject who was trespassing. Freeman was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $2,250 bond.

Jose L. Romo-Luna, 34, 621 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 8, 2014 at 7:11 am for hit and run driving, no driver's license, and carless operation of a motor vehicle. A deputy responded to a complaint of a damaged mailbox on Teche Road in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from the complainant that at least 3 mailboxes had been damaged and that debris from a vehicle was also found nearby. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located Romo-Luna's vehicle which also had been damaged. Romo-Luna was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $1,750.

Ervin Thomas, Jr., 27, 2660 4th Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 8, 2014 at 10:00 am on warrants for 2 counts issuing worthless checks. Thomas was released on a summons to appear in court on May 22, 2014.

Cody W. White, 20, 105 Rose Park Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 8, 2014 at 12:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Rose Park Lane made contact with White who held an active warrant for arrest. White was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $1,000.

Angel Morales, 26, 313 Aristile Road, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 8, 2014 at 11:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area made contact with Morales who held an actove warrant for arrest. Morales was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $5,000.

Leon Lipari, 56, 152 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 9, 2014 at 12:57 pm on a warrant for simple battery. A deputy located Lipari at his residence on the warrant. Lipari was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $500.

T.J. Williams, IV, 21, 100 Lancelin Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 9, 2014 at 8:05 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Williams was transported from Baldwin Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. No bond is set.
