According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 50 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Shamus Dardeau, 38, 525 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on January 27, 2014 at 9:59 am on a warrant for the following charges:
- Theft of assets of an aged or disabled person
- Identity theft
- Unauthorized use of an access card
A deputy located Dardeau at his residence on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into the theft of a bank card. The deputy assigned to the case obtained video surveillance footage of Dardeau using the stolen card at two businesses in St. Mary Parish.
Dardeau was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Cord R. Green, 26, 219 Cedar Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on January 27, 2014 at 2:26 pm for distribution of Schedule II (cocaine). Green was transported from another jail facility to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. No bond is set.
Lakreshia S. Caine, 22, 13970 West Main Street, Larose, LA was arrested on January 27, 2014 at 5:15 pm for theft of goods, flight from an officer, obstruction of justice, and remaining where forbidden.
Andrea N. Dabney, 34, 179 Violet Street, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on January 27, 2014 at 5:15 pm for theft of goods and remaining where forbidden.
A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area, responded to a complaint of shoplifting. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Caine and Dabney were seen concealing items in purses and on their persons. Both subjects admitted to the deputy that they had no intention of paying for the items. The deputy also learned that Caine and Dabney had been banned from the store for previous theft incidents. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set for Caine. Dabney's bond is set at $1,500.
Joye Ingram, 26, 427 ½ Bid Four Corners Road, Four Corners, LA was arrested on January 27, 2014 at 12:39 pm on two warrants for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ingram turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin. She was released on a summons to appear in court on April 28, 2014.
