St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Brandon Westly, 28, 427 ½ Big Four Corners Road, Four Corners, LA was arrested on January 21, 2014 at 9:42 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the charge of illegal possession of stolen things, failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks, and failure to appear on the charge of purse snatching. A deputy patrolling the Jeanerette area saw a subject running through a field. The deputy knew that the subject, Westly, held active warrants for his arrest. The deputy pursued Westly on foot and apprehended him. Westly was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. (Westly faces additional drug charges which can be read in the Narcotics Division report.)

Brian Scott, 42, 108 Calypso Lane #C, Lafayette, LA was arrested on January 21, 2014 at 1:15 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana). A deputy investigating a complaint of an intoxicated subject at a business on Airport Road in Patterson, made contact with Scott. During the course of the investigation, the deputy received consent to search Scott's vehicle and located the burnt remains of a marijuana cigarette. Scott was released on a summons to appear in court on April 28, 2014.

Christina M. Blanchard, 35, 550 Lee Drive, Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on January 21, 2014 at 7:02 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a report of a subject attempting to exit an ambulance while en route to the hospital. During the course of the investigation, the deputy made contact with Blanchard and learned that she had stolen a mobile phone from an emergency responder. After being transported to the hospital, Blanchard was released on a summons to appear in court on April 28, 2014.

Donnie Reed, 60, 1015 Grace Street, Siracusa, LA was arrested on January 22, 2014 at 3:47 am on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy patrolling the Siracusa area made contact with a subject who was walking on James Street. The subject was identified as Reed who held an active warrant for his arrest. Reed was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
