St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

Jamaul Anthony Wallace, 23, 422 Sixth Street Franklin, LA was arrested on April 12, 2013 at 6:54 am for following too close and resisting an officer with force. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division working a crime interdiction detail observed a vehicle following another vehicle too closely and conducted a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Wallace, he began cursing loudly acting enraged. Wallace was detained for officer safety. During the course of the investigation, Wallace continued to use foul language, some of which was aimed directly at detectives. Also, Wallace repeatedly attempted to pull away from detectives. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Once at the jail, Wallace threatened a detective. No bond is set.

Danny Wayne Bair, II, 18, 282 Vivian Street Bayou L'Ourse, LA was arrested on April 12, 2013 at 11:58 am on a warrant for misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Blair was located at a residence on Lincoln Street in Patterson on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. During the course of the investigation, the detective assigned to the case learned that Blair had sex with a 14 year old female juvenile. Blair was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $5,000.

Ervin Forrest King, 49, 1068 Tower Tank Road Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 12, 2013 at 9:41 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to signal. King was located by Morgan City Police. The SMPSO was notified by MCPD. At the time of this arrest, King remained incarcerated at the Morgan City jail.

Roberto Guajar Quintanilla, 36, 3111 Lake Palourde Road Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 14, 2013 at 12:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of angling without a license.

Reyna Irasema Villegas, 31, 3111 Lake Palourde Road Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 14, 2013 at 12:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance made contact with Quintanilla and Villegas. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that both subjects were wanted on warrants. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Quintanilla was released on a $100 bond. Villegas' bond is set at $400.

Celestine T. Favors, 69, 130 Clausen Road South Franklin, LA was arrested on April 14, 2013 at 5:12 pm for violation of the parish leash law. A deputy responded to a complaint of dogs running loose on Clausen Road South. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that three dogs chased a 7 year old boy causing him to fall from his bicycle while he was riding down the street. The child was transported to the hospital for treatment. Favors was identified as the owner of the dogs. She was released on a summons to appear in court on July 5, 2013.

Tyris Wilkerson, 32, 2637 Laurel Street Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on April 14, 2013 at 5:31 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security personnel that Wilkerson was observed taking items and concealing them on his person. Wilkerson then left the store without paying for the merchandise. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $1,000.

Alejandro Perez, 37, 111Lenny's Lane Amelia, LA was arrested on April 14, 2013 at 10:34 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery on Odile Street in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Perez struck a 21 year old male victim. The victim was transported by Acadian Ambulance to Teche regional Medical Center for treatment. Perez was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $500 bond.
