St.Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Nata Sedatol, 18, 3270 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA was arrested on November 14, 2012 at 10:42 am at the Chitimacha Police Department on warrants for hit and run driving and careless operation of a motor vehicle. The SMPSO was contacted by the Chitimacha Police Department in reference to Sedatol. The warrants stem from an investigation of a single vehicle accident on Chitimacha Trail in which a roadway sign was knocked down. Sedatol was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond has been set.
Sonja Henry, 37, 505 Robertson Street, Apt. #10 Franklin, LA was arrested on November 14, 2012 at 2:12 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Henry at her residence on the warrant. She was released on a summons to appear in court on February 27, 2013.
Juvenile male, 16, was arrested on November 14, 2012 at 5:22 pm in Amelia, LA for simple battery. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area responded to a complaint of a battery. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that the 16 year old juvenile attempted to engage in a verbal argument with another juvenile. When the male victim refused to become involved, the juvenile punched the victim multiple times. The 16 year old was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
