St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Denise J. Reaves, 40, 459 Verdun Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on November 25, 2013 at 7:19 am for remaining where forbidden, resisting a police officer with force, and battery of a police officer. A deputy responded to a medical call and complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Verdun Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Reaves was inside the home destroying property and refused to leave. The deputy made contact with Reaves who became verbally aggressive to both medical responders and deputies. When Reaves attempted to go back into a room she had been in, the deputy blocked her path. Reaves then pushed and swung her fist at the deputy. Reaves was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Richard Eldridge, 72, 113 Procter Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 25, 2013 at 9:13 am on a warrant issued by a Justice of the Peace for disturbing the peace. A deputy received information that Eldridge was at the St. Mary Parish courthouse in Franklin. Eldridge was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2013.

Bernie Metrejean, 39, 515 Duke Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 25, 2013 at 2:43 pm on a warrant from Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office for aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping. A St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputy received information from the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office that Metrejean was wanted on the active warrant. The deputy located Metrejean at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia. Metrejean was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was later transferred to another jurisdiction.

Jonathan Eric Thomas, 20, 211 Enterprise Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 25, 2013 at 5:30 pm on the following charges:
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse)
Possession of Schedule IV (Soma)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Violation of a drug free zone
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division observed a vehicle cross the yellow line on Highway 90 several times. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on Enterprise Street and made contact with the driver identified as Thomas. Detectives received consent to search his person and vehicle and located bags of marijuana and Vyvanse and Soma pills. Detectives also found items of drug paraphernalia consistent with consuming and selling illegal drugs. Thomas was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
