St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Tory Henry, 23, 210 Bodin Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 7:44 am on a warrant for failure to appear o the charge of illegal carrying of concealed weapons. Henry turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin after learning of the warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Latanya T. Mitchell, 33, 110 Plantation Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 11:07 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy located Mitchell at St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office headquarters in Franklin on the warrant. Mitchell was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Naomi Courville, 36, 410 Bush Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 1:26 pm at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2013.

Gene Webb, 23, 271 Grandwood Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 1:31 pm on a warrant from Franklin Police for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving under suspension. A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle that had broken down in the roadway at the intersection of Siracusa Road and Mako Lane in Morgan City. The deputy made contact with the owner of the vehicle who was identified as Webb. While assisting Webb in removing the vehicle from the roadway, the deputy conducted a warrants check and learned that Webb held an active warrant for his arrest. Webb was transported to the Franklin Police Department on the warrant.

Nathel Lewis, 31, no address given, was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 3:29 pm on the following charges:
Flight from an officer
Obscenity
Possession of Schedule I
Possession of drug paraphernalia
A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject driving naked in a Bayou Vista parking lot. The deputy located the suspect vehicle and initiated a stop. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Lewis, failed to pull over and continued to drive into another parking lot. With the assistance of another deputy patrolling the area, Lewis was stopped. During the course of the investigation, deputies observed a small marijuana cigarette and items of drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Lewis was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Elizabeth R. Lewis, 21, 209 Jones Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 4:18 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Lewis was seen placing items into a shopping bag without paying for the goods before attempting to leave the store. She was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2014.

Alvin J. Durapau, 26, 104 Todd Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 13, 2013 at 4:40 pm on the following charges:
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
Violation of a drug free zone
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division were contacted by U.S. Marshals who located illegal narcotics during the execution of an arrest warrant at the above listed residence. During the investigation, detectives received consent to search the residence and located marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A 2 month old child was inside the residence which was also located within 2,000 feet of a church. The child was released to the custody of a parent. Durapau was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
