St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 158 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Brandon Marks, 30, 1031 Hwy. 318 Lot #3, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on July 26, 2013 at 1:51 pm at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin on a warrant for theft. Deputies investigating the theft of scrap metal from a farm in Ashton developed Marks as a suspect. Marks was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Bricelon Martin, 17, 1192 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA was arrested on July 26, 2013 at 2:28 pm on a warrant for criminal trespass and theft. During this investigation, deputies reviewed surveillance footage of a subject trespassing at a residence on Chitimacha Trail. The subject, who was identified as Martin, was captured on video taking a beer from a cooler outside of the victim's home. Martin was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $2,000 bond.

Shawn G. Olivier, 30, 224 N. College Road, Lafayette, LA was arrested on July 26, 2013 at 3:15 pm for possession of Schedule II (methadone) and reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responding to a report of a reckless driver conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in the Franklin area and made contact with the driver, identified as Olivier. During the course of the investigation and arrest, Olivier was fund to be in possession of a methadone pill. Olivier was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Megan E. Theiring, 27, 610 Oak Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 26, 2013 at 4:00 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security personnel that Theiring was observed placing items on her person. Following an investigation, she was released on a summons to appear in court on October 9, 2013.

Shawn Patrick Mallet, 38, 419 Robertson Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 26, 2013 at 8:24 pm for possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle. A deputy patrolling the St. Joseph area clocked a vehicle speeding on Irish Bend Road and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with a passenger in the vehicle and identified him as Mallet. Mallet was observed to be in possession of an open bottle of beer. Mallet was issued a summons to appear in court on October 9, 2013.

Kentrell Francis Diggs, 21, 428 Lagonda Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 27, 2013 at 11:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of a Schedule I drug. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area made contact with a subject who was walking on Saturn Road. Upon speaking with the subject, identified as Diggs, the deputy learned of the warrant for his arrest. Diggs was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $10,000.

John Buck, Jr., 26, 101 Pluto Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 27, 2013 at 7:38 am at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City on a warrant for armed robbery. In the early morning hours on Saturday, deputies began an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred inside a residence on Settoon Lane in Bayou Vista. While visiting at the residence, two victims were approached by a white male subject armed with a knife. The subject demanded money from the victims. Deputies developed Buck as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Buck was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. The investigation is ongoing.

David Lenes Aucoin, Jr., 17, 148 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 27, 2013 at 8:01 pm for abuse of toxic vapors, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids).

Tanner Aaron Aucoin, 17, Three B's Lane Apt. #11, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 27, 2013 at 8:01 pm for possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids) and abuse of toxic vapors.

While patrolling the Bayou Vista area, a deputy responded to a complaint of a possible trespasser on Three B's Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with David and Tanner Aucoin. During the investigation, illegal drugs and paraphernalia were located. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. David Aucoin's bond is set at $4,500. Tanner Aucoin was released on a $3,000 bond.
Rickey Guerra, 47, 124 Poncio Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 27, 2013 at 9:43 pm for tail lights required, driving under suspension, failure to secure registration for a motor vehicle, switched license plate, no insurance, and on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic violations including speeding and careless operation. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an unlit tail light and no visible license plate. The deputy made contact with the driver who was identified as Guerra. During the course of the investigation, Guerra was unable to provide proper documents on the vehicle or a driver's license. The deputy also learned that Guerra was using the license tag from another vehicle and that he was wanted on a active warrant for other traffic related offenses. Guerra was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $4,500 bond.

Joseph Lee Hart, 30, 400 Second Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 12:52 am for domestic abuse battery. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area, responded to a report of a battery at the Plantation Inn. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that the female subject and Hart were involved in a verbal argument when Hart grabbed the female victim by the arm and pushed her. Hart was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Hart was released on a $2,500.

Tammy M. Krol, 42, 118 Pequot Drive, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 1:17 am for license plate light required, expired MVI sticker, and possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Ralph Darden Memorial Parkway on a vehicle without a working license plate light. While speaking with the driver, identified as Krol, the deputy observed an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Krol was released on a summons to appear in court on October 9, 2013.

Beau K. Morris, 27, 5421 Highway 87 #1, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 3:43 am for reckless operation of a vehicle and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a business parking lot on Highway 87 in reference to a complaint of vehicle damage. The deputy determined that while exiting the gravel parking lot, Morris' vehicle threw up rocks causing damage to another vehicle. Morris was located at his residence. He was released on a summons to appear in court on October 9, 2013.

Sonnie Thibodeaux Bazor, 42, 301 Grizzaffi Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 3:40 pm on four warrants for failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Bazor at her residence on the warrants. Bazor was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $14,900.

Deborah Anne Bourgeois, 24, 815 Highway 90 East, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 7:09 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security personnel that Bourgeois was observed placing items in her purse. Following an investigation, she was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $1,000.

Christopher Allen Oubre, Jr., 18, 153 Highway 182 E. Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 28, 2013 at 8:09 pm on a warrant for principal to aggravated battery. A deputy made contact with Oubre in the parking lot of a business in Bayou Vista. While speaking with Oubre, the deputy learned of the warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
