St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 137 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Dwayne Robertson, 20, 258 Jones Road #1 Lot. #3 Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 9:14 am for improper lane usage, driving under suspension, and on a warrant fro Lafayette Parish for theft. Detectives patrolling the four corners area observed a vehicle swerve to the side of the road stopping abruptly. The vehicle was partially parked on the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted. Following an investigation, Robertson was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

George D. Geoffroy, Jr., 50, 136 Mars Road Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 12:50 pm for hit and run. A deputy witnessed a hit and run crash on Mars Road in which Geoffroy struck a mailbox and garbage can. Geoffroy was released on a summons to appear in court on August 23, 2013.

Gerald Guillory, Jr., 43, 145 Uranus Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May, 3, 2013 at 1:53 pm on a warrant for 2 counts of video voyeurism. On April 25, 2013, the SMPSO received a complaint of video voyeurism. The detectives assigned to the case learned that Guillory recorded video of a female family member while she was bathing approximately 3 years ago. The video was discovered by another family member and turned over to the Sheriff's Office. Guillory was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $30,000 bond.

Jesse David Hard, III, 13130 East P. Avenue, Climax, Michigan was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 5:37 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated. While patrolling the Patterson area, a deputy responded to a complaint at a residence on Amanda Lane. Hard was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Hard was released on a $250 bond.

Troy Puckett, 47, 262 Cliffwood Court, Houma, LA was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 5:07 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint fo a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Following an investigation, Puckett was released ona summons to appear in court on August 23, 2013.

Marco Contrerez, 28, 827 Oks Road, Houston, TX was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 9:13 pm for possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle, driving left of center, careless operation of a motor vehicle, proper equipment required, operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States, and insurance required. While patrolling the Amelia, a deputy observed a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 182 and conducted a traffic stop. Following an investigation, Contrerez was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Damian Landry, 26, 2112 Hebert Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 10:58 pm for domestic abuse battery.

Melody Howard, 28, 517 1/2 Willow Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 3, 2013 at 10:39 pm for domestic abuse battery.

While patrolling the Franklin area, a deputy responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute at a residence on Chatsworth Road. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Landry and Howard were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Howard and Landry were released on a $2,500 bond.

Alvin Journet, 46, 1059 Jules Broussard Road, Breaux Bridge, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 7:47 am for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute at a residence on Cajun Way in Amelia, LA. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Journet struck a female victim during a verbal argument. Journet was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Dangelo Prince, 33, 156 Georgetown Road, Glenco, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 8:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension and on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Prince at his residence on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,500 bond.

Nicholas Fonseca, 2546 Amanda Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 6:14 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Amanda Lane. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Fonseca struck a female victim. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Steve Edwin Mitchell, 47, 202 Mitchell Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 8:39 pm for failure to stop and possession of marijuana.

Darrell Erwin Bourgeois, 47, 210 Mitchell Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 8:39 pm for possession of marijuana 3rd offense.

A deputy patrolling the St. Joseph area observed a vehicle run a traffic light at the intersection of Main and Iberia Streets. A traffic stop was conducted. During the stop, the deputy located marijuana in the vehicle. Both Mitchell and Bourgeois were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bourgeois was released on a personal surety bond. Mitchell was released on a $2,250 bond.

Carlin David Stelly, 35, 8251 Highway 182 Franklin, LA was arrested on May 4, 2013 at 10:35 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Highway 87 in the Franklin area made contact with the driver identified as Stelly. During the investigation the deputy learned that Stelly was wanted on the active warrants. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $30,644.54.

Michael Wayne Ganaway, 25, 917 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 5, 2013 at 12:13 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy made contact with Ganaway on Saturn Road in Bayou Vista and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Ganaway was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
