St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Robert Burnside, 25, 333 Progresso Road Patterson, LA was arrested on April 23, 2013 at 7:27 am for simple criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a business located on Ford Industrial Road in Amelia in reference to a complaint of damaged property. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from security personnel that the glass on a vending machine had been broken. During the course of the investigation, the deputy developed Burnside as a suspect. Burnside was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $1,000.

Juston P. Schouest, 49, 2110 LA 319 Franklin, LA was arrested on April 23, 2013 at 10:21 am on a warrant for simple battery. On January 24, 2013 a detective began an investigation into a complaint involving inappropriate behavior with a juvenile. Through forensic interviews, the detectives learned that Schouest touched an 11 year old female on the leg while she was sleeping at a residence in Cypremort Point. Schouest came into the SMPSO in Franklin in reference to the investigation and was subsequently arrested on the warrant for simple battery. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Thomas Dillen, 53, 226 B. Hibe Road Carencro, LA was arrested on April 23, 2013 at 12:54 pm on two warrants from the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office for failure to yield and driving under suspension. At the request of customs agents, a deputy responded to 800 Youngs Road in Morgan City to serve the warrants. Dillen was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

David Patrick Chaisson, 34, 417 Southwest Rd. Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 23, 2013 at 6:14 pm for possession of marijuana and synthetic cannabinoids, possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Bayou Vista area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Southeast Blvd. and Saturn Rd. Detectives made contact with the driver who was identified as Chaisson. Chaisson gave detectives consent to search his vehicle. Detectives located marijuana, synthetic cannabinoids, and a grinder. Chaisson was released on a summons to appear in court on July 5, 2013.

Erica Denise Boudreaux, 25, 313A Venus St. Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 23, 2013 at 7:00 pm 313A Venus St. Bayou Vista, LA for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, violation of CDS law (Drug Free Zone), and obstruction of justice. Narcotics detectives conducted an investigation into illegal drug activity at 313A Venus St. Upon detectives' arrival, there were several small children playing in the yard. Detectives received consent to search the residence, and located marijuana. Boudreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
