According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Kevin Jackson, 44, no address, was arrested on April 4, 2013 at 10:55 am on warrants from Terrebonne Parish for unauthorized use of an access card, theft under $300, and failure to appear on charges of seatbelt violation and expired driver's license. A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject causing a disturbance at the Fairview Treatment Center on Southeast Blvd. In Bayou Vista, LA. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from personnel that Jackson was causing a disturbance in the waiting room. The deputy made contact with Jackson. A warrants check was conducted. The check indicated that Jackson was wanted on active warrants. He was transferred to another jurisdiction.
Jon R. Ireland, 27, 913 Antigo Alley Franklin, LA was arrested on April 4, 2013 at 2:02 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Ireland on 2nd Street in Franklin on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at 3,305.39.
T.J. Williams, IV, 20, Lot #5 Orphan Home Road Baldwin, LA was arrested on April 4, 2013 at 2:50 pm for unauthorized use of an access card as theft, illegal possession of stolen things, forgery, and on a warrant for criminal neglect of family. He is also charged on warrants from Iberia Parish for unauthorized use of an access card and illegal possession of stolen things. During an investigation into a string of vehicle burglaries in the Charenton area, detectives identified Williams as a suspect who used a credit card that had been stolen from a victim's vehicle. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. This is the second arrest in this investigation which began in February of this year. Marvin Gabriel was arrested on March 5, 2013. Both men used stolen cards to make purchases at a convenience store in Franklin and a retail store in New Iberia.
