St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, the Sheriff's Office responded to 157 complaints and reports the following arrests from the holiday weekend:

Wayneisha Shaw, 21, 510 Edward Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on March 28, 2013 at 8:20 am on a warrant for simple battery. A deputy investigating a vehicle crash on Deslinger Road learned that Shaw was wanted on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation that began on November 20, 2013. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance near the corner of Chitimacha Trail and Mary Garret Road in Baldwin, LA. Upon arrival the deputy learned that Shaw and a 21 year old victim were involved in a fight. The victim was transported to Franklin Foundation hospital for treatment of a wound to her head. Shaw was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was released on a $500 bond.

Juvenile female, 15, Franklin was arrested on March 28, 2013 at 8:32 pm and charged with ungovernable juvenile.

A deputy responded to a complaint of two subjects walking in the roadway. The deputy located the subjects. Upon speaking with them, the deputy learned that they were juveniles and that they were running away from home. Both were released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Brennan Foreman, 20, 1011 Susan Court Stephensville, LA was arrested on March 28, 2013 at 10:11 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brennan Bergeron, 17, 1607 Walnut Drive Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 28, 2013 at 10:11 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Hwy. 90. The deputy made contact with the driver who was identified as Foreman and the passenger who was identified as Bergeron. During the investigation of the crash, the deputy located a marijuana cigar on the ground near the vehicle. The deputy received consent to search the vehicle and found a marijuana cigar inside the vehicle. Both Foreman and Bergeron were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bergeron's bond is set at $6,500. No bond is set for Foreman.

Vincent Slack, 46, 513 Second Street Franklin, LA was arrested on March 28, 2013 at 11:05 pm at the SMPSO in Franklin on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of license plate light required, no insurance, and switched license plate. While investigating a complaint, a deputy made contact with Slack and learned of the warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Andrew Hebert, 21, 114 Lake Palourde Road Amelia, LA was arrested on March 29, 2013 at 6:59 pm on a warrant for cruelty to animals. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area made contact with Hebert who was wanted on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation that began on March 25, 2013. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Lake Palourde Road. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that during a verbal altercation between Hebert and a female subject, Hebert struck her puppy. Hebert was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Juvenile Male, 15, Berwick was arrested on March 29, 2013 at 8:32 pm for unlawful possession of tobacco by a minor. A deputy working security detail at the Bayou Vista Skate Park received a complaint of 3 juveniles smoking at the park. The deputy made contact with the juveniles. During the course of the investigation, the deputy discovered that one of the juveniles had two packs of cigarettes in his possession. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Lori Kay Hicks, 50, 207 Cecelia Street Bayou Lourie, LA was arrested on March 30, 2013 at 12:18 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of a theft at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy learned from store security that Hicks was observed taking items and concealing them in her pockets. Hicks then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. Hicks was released on a summons to appear on court on June 12, 2013.

Deven W. Vining, 19, 821 Alabama Street Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 31, 2013 at 11:01 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of obstruction of justice, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, abuse of toxic vapors and traffic and vehicle violations. Deputies responded to a complaint of two suspicious persons at an RV Park located on Hwy. 90 in the Patterson area. Upon arrival, a deputy spotted two male subjects fitting the description given by the complainant. As the deputies began to approach the subjects, the two males fled on foot in opposite directions. The responding deputies gave chase. One of the subjects, later identified as Vining, complied with the deputy's verbal commands to stop. Through further investigation, the deputy learned that Vining was wanted on the above warrant and that the second male subject was Brittan Boudreaux. Boudreaux was wanted by multiple agencies including the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. Vining was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Brittan Boudreaux, 28, 414 Ansley Place Street Houma, LA was arrested on March 31, 2013 at 3:35 pm for 2 counts resisting an officer and on warrants for possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, 2 counts resisting an officer by flight, careless operation, criminal damage to property, and stop sign/yield sign violation. Boudreaux was also charged on an active warrant from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputies answered a complaint of a suspicious person matching the description of Boudreaux who had fled from deputies earlier in the day. The deputies responded to a Grandwood Drive Apartment Complex in Patterson, LA. Boudreaux was located outside of one of the apartments. As a deputy approached Boudreaux, he fled on foot into a nearby wooded area. The deputy gave chase. Using radio communication, deputies were able to locate and apprehend Boudreaux in the wooded area. Boudreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Travis Montgomery, 38, 500 Bessie Street Patterson, LA was arrested on March 31, 2013 at 9:15 pm for aggravated battery, domestic abuse battery, and disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery in progress on Bessie Street. Upon arrival the deputy observed, through a window, the shadow of a subject striking something. The deputy determined that life was endangered and entered the residence. The deputy located a male subject, identified as Montgomery, and a female subject. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that Montgomery struck the female victim repeatedly. Montgomery was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
