St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the holiday weekend, the Sheriff's office responded to 174 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Deshawn Lofton, 38, 964 Chitimacha Trail, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 15, 2013 at 1:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A deputy investigating a complaint came into contact with Lofton and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Lofton was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Charlotte Ivy Sherman, 32, 134 Dotties Lane #10, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 15, 2013 at 3:11 pm on warrants for littering, simple criminal damage to property, and theft over $500. A deputy responding to a complaint of trespassing made contact with Sherman. During the investigation the deputy learned that Sherman was wanted on warrants. Sherman was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was released on a $10,000 bond.

Paula Blakeman, 52, 308 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 16, 2013 at 12:26 am for driving while intoxicated and improper lane usage. A deputy observed a vehicle swerving on Highway 182 in the Franklin area and conducted a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Blakeman, the deputy detected the odor of alcohol on her breath and person. During the course of the investigation Blakeman performed poorly on the field sobriety test and later registered a .175g% on the Intoxilyzer 5000 breath test. Blakeman was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was released on a $2,750 bond.

Keith Faulk, 53, 178 Village Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on February 16, 2013 at 12:10 pm for violations of the vicious animals and leash law parish ordinance. A deputy investigating a complaint of a goat killed by dogs made contact with Faulk whose dogs were loose on the night the goat was killed. Faulk stated to the deputy that he will take responsibility for what his dogs did. Faulk was released on a summons to appear in court on May 21, 2013.

Jonathan Ray Beadle, 22, 125 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 17, 2013 at 4:49 am for 4 counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery. And aggravated criminal damage to property over $500. A deputy responded to a complaint of a man chasing a woman with a gun in the area of Southwest and Canal Roads in Bayou Vista. Due to the nature of the complaint, Berwick and Morgan City Police were notified for assistance. During the course of the investigation, SMPSO detectives learned that Beadle had chased a female victim and three other subjects with a gun after the subjects confronted Beadle over his alleged abuse of the female. As the group fled, Beadle caught up with the female victim and grabbed her. He then began dragging her and repeatedly striking her. The victim was transported to the Teche Regional Medical Center for treatment and was later released. Detectives also learned that during the disturbance Beadle shattered the windows of a vehicle. Beadle was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

William C. Clossom, 28, 243 Darwin Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on February 17, 2013 at 11:00 am on a warrant from Patterson Police for theft by shoplifting. While conducting an investigation into a complaint a deputy made contact with Clossum at the residence listed above. The deputy learned from dispatch that Clossum was wanted on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and later transferred to another jurisdiction.

David Gall, 26, 121 South Chesnut Lot #6, New Iberia, LA was arrested on February 17, 2013 at 11:31 am at the Chitimacha Police Departmet on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. A deputy received information from the Chitimacha Police Department of a subject who was wanted on warrants. Gall was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $314.50 bond.

Elisha Maxwell, 17, 508 Carl Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 17, 2013 at 4:09 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store security that Maxwell was observed concealing items in her purse. Maxwell was released on a summons to appear in court on May 21, 2013.

Nicole Aucoin, 21, 131 Main Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 15, 2013 at 12:05 pm on a warrant for possession of Schedule IV (Clonazepam). Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division located Aucoin at the parish courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. Aucoin was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. She was released on a $2,500 bond.

Draven James LaFleur, 17, 108 Gunter Grass, Lafayette, LA was arrested on February 16, 2013 at 3:30 pm for possession of marijuana. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division assisted patrol with a traffic stop on Highway 90 in Centerville. Detectives received consent to search the vehicle from the driver, identified as LaFleur. During the search detectives located marijuana. LaFleur was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $2,000 bond.
